Refunds & Returns Policy

Our Refunds & Returns Policy complies with ACCC Legislation.  

Its customers responsibility to double check delivery address provided as a refund cannot be given if incorrect or insufficient delivery information results in package being undeliverable and/or returned, or if package is rejected by customer at time of attempted delivery. Or if not collect from Post Office/TNT Collection Point/Courier Depot and returned. 

If customers mail is delivered by barge then you MUST choose Express/Priority option or contact us if you require Express AusPost. 


Upon dispatch all customers are sent a detailed Delivery Email with Freight Company Tracking Number & Link. Its customers responsibility to monitor the Tracking Link and imperative customer contacts Parties In Packages immediately if not delivered by Estimated Due Date (at least 2 business days before the party date) so investigation can be lodged with Freight Company to resolve any delay and still deliver package in time for party. Failure to do so will result in ineligibility of any possible refund or credit. 

Timeframe estimates provided by Australia Post, TNT & Fastway Courier are guidelines based on their own reasonable experience/expectations. Its customers responsibility to allow enough grace time for possible unexpected delay. Please choose your delivery option carefully as it's not the responsibility of Parties In Packages, once package dispatched, if not delivered in time for party and no freight company provides a guaranteed timeframe or money back guarantee.  If a freight company accepts responsibility for lost or damaged package customer will then be entitled to a refund. 


Disposable plastic party supplies are packaged for the retail market by their individual manufacturers including large items such as Scene Setter Backdrops, door covers and tablecloths right down to small items such as lootbags. 

Any claim for Refund due to faulty stock must be reported to Parties In Packages along with photo evidence before the customers party via email. Once a manufacturing fault confirmed by the Supplier, customer will then be entitled to a refund by Parties In Packages. Foil balloons cannot be replaced or refunded if overblown (as indicated by tears along the seam area), burned, or have puncture holes, exposed to moisture of any form, roughly handled, improperly stored or balloons exposed to high temperates or direct sunlight. Similarly inflatables cannot be replaced or refunded if overblown by customer as indicated by tear along seam area.  A refund cannot be given if product accidentally damaged by customer once received. If you have a query about possible returns please contact us via email and be sure to include your order/tax invoice number and your email address.

Please choose your products carefully as due to automated processes commencing the moment Order is placed online, Parties In Packages will not be responsible for return or refund should customer simply change their mind after order has been placed, or should the Estimated Delivery Timeframe provided on Check-out Page when order placed be ignored.


Parties In Packages treats customers with respect and has zero tolerance on rude behaviour therefore reserves the right to cancel and refund any order at their discretion.
